Tulsa Community College has announced the 2026-2027 season will be the final season for Signature Symphony at TCC. The Signature Symphony was formed in 1978 and moved to TCC in 1996 as the professional orchestra-in-residence for TCC’s VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education.

The decision to close Signature Symphony follows a financial review that included operating costs, ticket sales and concerns about long-term sustainability. In addition to financial and in-kind support, TCC has continued to subsidize a large number of tickets. Signature Symphony will continue with all concerts for the 2026-2027 season. To purchase tickets for remaining concerts, visit SignatureSymphony.org/events

Gifts to the symphony are welcome and will be used to support expenses incurred during the 2026-27 season. To make a gift, use the form below or call 918-595-7977.

“This was not an easy decision. We are grateful to everyone who has contributed to Signature Symphony,” said Leigh Goodson, Ph.D., TCC President and CEO. “However, the College has a responsibility to carefully evaluate its use of resources and maintain a strong commitment to financial responsibility with a focus on student success.”
