Join the Signature Symphony at Tulsa Community College for an evening of patriotic celebration at its annual concert, “4th on the 3rd: Salute to Freedom,” on Wednesday, July 3, at the TCC VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education.
The all-local symphony will perform traditional patriotic music and other favorites by renowned composers like John Williams and John Philip Sousa. Additionally, the 2024 Tulsa Sings! Audience Favorite, Michael Beltran, and the Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale will be featured, adding more depth and excitement to the evening.
“Our 4th on the 3rd concert is absolutely one of the most fun of the entire season! With a broad range of works that include music from ‘Star Wars’ to the finale of Tchaikovsky’s ‘1812 Overture’, there is sure to be something for everyone, both young and young at heart,” says Artistic Director Scott Seaton.
The concert will be held indoors in an air-conditioned venue, offering a comfortable, climate-controlled environment. This family-friendly concert is perfect for all ages and includes special discounts for veterans, who can purchase tickets for just $5 by calling the PACE Ticket Office at 918-595-7777. The symphony will pay tribute to those who have served by playing each of the service songs. Attendees are encouraged to come dressed in red, white and blue attire.
