Celebrate the emergence of the holiday season with Signature Symphony at TCC as they present Christmas in Tulsa, a two-night performance Dec. 15-16 that captures the magic of this special time of year, complete with a visit from Santa Claus and a hats, mittens, and socks drive.

Christmas in Tulsa promises timeless holiday favorites for a magical night with friends and family. The Tulsa Opera Signature Chorale lends its angelic voices throughout the performance that will conclude with an annual holiday sing-a-long. Santa Claus will also be available at intermission to hear Christmas wishes from young audience members.

“With music from ‘Polar Express’ to selections from ‘Home Alone’ that we will perform with the Signature Chorale and the children’s chorus from Tulsa Youth Opera, I cannot think of a more fun concert,” Signature Symphony’s Artistic Director Scott Seaton said.

Andrea Bar, the 2023 Tulsa Sings! winner, will be joining this concert set for several holiday favorites, including O Holy Night and The Christmas Song. “Andrea dazzled our audience at our July 4th on the 3rd concert and we wanted even more music lovers to hear her wonderful voice. She has been the only contestant in the history of Tulsa Sings! to win the grand prize and the audience favorite,” said Seaton.

A free open rehearsal will take place Dec. 14 at 6:30 p.m. and will provide a unique opportunity for the audience to experience the music from behind the scenes, as well as an opportunity to get to know Seaton, the musicians, and guest artists.

This holiday season, Signature Symphony is partnering with Family & Children’s Services for a joint hats, mittens, and socks drive. Donation boxes to drop off new hats, gloves, mittens, and socks in children’s and adult sizes will be available at each concert and open rehearsal.

Signature Symphony will take the stage for Christmas in Tulsa Dec. 15 and 16 at 7:30 p.m. at the TCC VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education at 10300 E 81st St, Tulsa, OK 74133. Tickets are priced from $39-$79.
