Featuring: Tessa Lark, Violin

The 2023-2024 Signature Symphony season kicks off with one of our country’s most dynamic young violinists, Tessa Lark, performing Sky, a work written for her by Michael Torke fusing the world of bluegrass with an orchestral soundscape. Countryside inspiration ties this concert together and Antonin Dvořák’s sunny Symphony No. 8 closes the evening with its folk-inspired melodies and exuberant energy.
