In this season finale, the Signature Symphony is augmented by the brass sections of area marching bands performing Ottorino Respighi’s monumental Pines of Rome. This fantastical tone poem features one of the most splashy endings in the symphonic repertoire and was even featured in the movie Fantasia 2000. The program includes everything from Hans Zimmer’s Pirates of the Caribbean to the fast-paced fusion work Go BIG or Go HOME by American composer Jessica Meyer and the world premiere of a piece by Noam Faingold!
