Rubén Rengel, the 22-year-old Venezuelan native and winner of the 2018 Sphinx Competition will grace the Signature Stage for a performance you won’t want to miss. The Sphinx Competition, held annually for talented Black and Latino string players, transforms lives through the power and diversity of the arts. Also featured is Amy Beach’s Symphony in E minor (Gaelic), the first symphony composed and published by an American female composer.
